Description:
The software I used to turn this photograph into what appears to be a drawing usually does not give me the effect I want to achieve but in this case it really worked well. This is out at Dockyard in the extreme west end of Bermuda. This was a large Royal Navy fortress and port built over a century ago. For a long time it was left abandoned but over the last twenty years it has been developed into a tourist destination with retail stores in the old stone wharehouses. There are also several good restaurants and a high speed ferry boat can have you back in Hamilton in about twenty minutes unfortunately there are long periods during the day when the ferry does not run. If you take the bus back to Hamilton it will take more than hour.
